Our Founder

Devin Parris is a Maryland native with a passion for filmmaking. She began her artistic journey as a fashion designer in high school. As she grew, she developed an interest in music, acting, and eventually film. Her love for film led her to the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia, where she pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and minored in Dramatic Writing. Through her institution and connections made throughout Atlanta, Parris has had the opportunity to work on a myriad of projects ranging from producing a game show television series to serving as a production designer on narrative short films. She has worked as a film writer, producer, director, production designer, and more!

Throughout her journey in the film industry, she has consistently made an effort to connect with various people she meets on set and in the real world to broaden her perspective. Parris often discusses how community is the foundation of her exploration of the arts. Her works aim to tell stories in their most authentic form to entertain, evoke emotion, and enlighten her audience.

Parris created Reality Reset Productions to hold space for the stories that are not often elevated. In a world filled with overwhelming access to unreliable social media and news outlets, Parris established Reality Reset Productions to support artists who want to create work that reflects their creative perspective in a safe and welcoming environment. She aims to help guide artists along their journey from ideation to creation to distribution. Collaboration with Reality Reset is more than just an opportunity for artists to receive support on their projects; it is a chance to learn and grow alongside fellow creatives.
